About the Course

Photography Fundamentals is designed for people who want to learn photography from the ground up.

Instead of simply relying on automatic settings, you'll learn how your camera works, how exposure affects your photographs, how to work with light and focus, and how to make intentional creative decisions.

The course combines classroom instruction, demonstrations, practical exercises and photography sessions around Querétaro.

You don't need previous photography experience. You simply need a camera and a willingness to learn.

Getting to Know Your Camera

Put everything together during a practical photography session.

How the Course Works

  • Each class combines short theoretical lessons with practical photography exercises.

  • You'll learn a concept, put it into practice and receive feedback so you can understand not only what to change, but why.

  • The course takes place once a week, giving you time between classes to practice with your own camera.

Choose the schedule that works best for you:

  • Wednesday Group
    One class every Wednesday for five weeks.

  • Saturday Group
    One class every Saturday for five weeks.

What You Need

You should bring:

  • A digital camera with manual controls

  • Your camera battery fully charged

  • At least one memory card

  • Your camera manual, if available

  • A laptop is optional

  • A DSLR or mirrorless camera is recommended.
